Have you got a small electrical item that has lost its spark?
Maybe you have had a few small electrical items lying around your home that are broken or maybe just a bit pass their prime?
This could be anything….an old mobile phone in a drawer that you just don’t know why you’ve kept, kids electric toy in the cupboard that you should have gotten rid of ages ago but you were hoping they would play with the child’s toy just one more time, old power tools cluttering up your garage or a broken kettle or toaster gathering dust in your loft. Sometimes it has hard to part with things that seem valuable and other times you think I will deal with that later… only later never comes!
The good news is they do not have to go to waste, because it is so so easy to recycle your old small electrical items across Torbay.
Torbay Council have three small electrical recycling collection points in the connections offices across Torquay, Paignton and Brixham.
Heading down to one of those offices? Well why don’t you think about taking some of those old items with you? You can recycle unwanted to broken small electrical items at any one of these points, including; Kettles, toasters, irons, mobile phones, remote controls, chargers, small radios, electronic toys, games consoles, small power tools such as those drills that haven’t worked in you don’t know how long, and personal care items like; hairdryers, hair straighteners, electronic toothbrushes, hair trimmers, shavers and hair curlers.
The ones listed above are of course all small electrical items. But maybe you’ve got larger electrical items that you would like to recycle such as a fridge or a washing machine? Well….how about using the TOR2 bulky collection service? Just give us a call on 01803 701316 for a quote or to book it in. Or alternatively, you can always bring these items down to the Torbay Household Waste and Recycling Centre in Paignton 🙂
Have fun clearing out those electrical items 😛
