Good evening everyone. I just have a short photo blog for you this evening.
It is an interesting one (Well I think so anyway) So I hope you enjoy 🙂
We’ve been helping out Torbay Council, who have expanded the bike hire at Paignton Velopark to now provide specially adapted bikes for use by disabled people.
Where did TOR2 come in? There part involved lending a hand to help create a space for these adapted bikes.
This now means that the Velopark can provide opportunities for everyone to take part in cycling on the off road track.
There are such a variety of bikes that are now available which include, specially made Trikes a tandem and Junior and Senior recumbent Bikes. Wheels for all will also be loaning a hand cycle, a quad cycle and tricycles Wheels for al are also looking into obtaining funding to provide more permanent cycles at the Velopark.
TOR2 lent a helping hand to create a space for the these bikes but if you would like to find out more, then head over to the Torbay Council Facebook page to ask them more about it.
I hope you found this interesting.
Blog you soon.
